my husband is so friggin' talented

and if you're not jealous, YOU SHOULD BE.

check this stud out--and of course i mean the one in the sweet specs...

how about a close-up for the ladies:

gahhhhhhh. it's so good. and now it's undergoing Shading, Part II. i simply cannot wait to stick this sucker up in our living room. there. i've fawned.

as a side note, i threw away--correction: NICK threw away--my tevas today. this was because i scored a sweet pair of chacos from the rei garage sale a couple weeks ago (20 bucks! 20 bucks!), plus the fact that the soles were quite literally hanging on for dear life, and without much success. i can't help but indulge in some old-fashioned mourning for these dearly departed, because they took me first to france and introduced me to the world outside granville, ohio. then they trucked me to south america, africa, the middle east... yes, i'm spoiled, and yes, they're the only friends who've stuck with me through all of these voyages. in homage:

and from this photo, you know that we had frozen vegetables for dinner and let a precious peach go bad, on my watch.

aaaaand finally, we drove alpine loop on monday. i picked the two most attractive pictures i could find.

cheers.
