notes for teacher nick

yesterday was the beginning of 2nd term, so nick had to go back to school : (

because he quickly deemed teaching mostly futile due to the students' even-rambunctiouser-than-normal behavior, he took a moment to ask everyone to write him anonymously, telling him what they think of him as a teacher and what they think he should do to improve.

here are a few of my favorite responses:

I think your teaching is very good . I understand w'a what is your teaching. sometime I don't understand becaues it dof difficult for me T^T
"BUT"
Your teach is very good , funny and happy for me ! [insert hilarious drawing of square-faced emoticons; also, this last part is all inside a rectangle that becomes a sign on a post with a lumpy thumbs-up "like" button]

* Your teaches is very very good ! ^_^
: But I can't understand what you speak (sometimes)

Dear: Teacher Nick

Hello! teacher, ? , How are you this holiday ? I'm fine but I was boring at home . Play game, Watch anime, swimming .Iike is at home cycle [cycle is in a box, followed by the recycling symbol] . I have nothing to tell you [In my mind. I thing you are the good teacher and teach very easy] .

I think maybe you shouldn't give homework to children everyday maybe twice a week because in m.1 - m.2 our math teacher didn't give homework too much [ahh, now we understand why no one understands any past concepts!] and sometime we want you to go slowly in some project like Projectile or Parabolas . Some question that you ask for homework maybe too hard for us. if we don't understand so we can't do our homework.
but you better than anyone else
: ) [lumpy thumbs-up "like" button, then 7 tally marks]

and, my very favorite postscript, following a gem of a letter that's just too long:

and you should have hair set i think last term Your hair very good : - )

well, then.

I love Thainglish writing so much... It's always an adventure trying to figure out what my Thai friends are writing on my Facebook wall. My favorite- "I hope you travel with security." You just know they put in the Thai word for 'safety' into Google translate and got out 'security.'
