which is why it looks like i lied, even though i didn't. better the computer than any humans, right? so thanks for the congratulatory notes; we are excited. very excited. and we'll be EVEN MORE excited when we have jobs again! hint: send all your asian connections our way, you know, if you want...

here's what y'all have missed lately:

nick's food poisoning that people mistook for dengue's cousin--hence the mask and government-sponsored pamphlet,


the purchase of a fridge (very exciting),
and of a shower water heater (way more exciting),
and of a car (not exciting because it means my motocye days are over but, according to the grandmas-to-be, necessary for fetal insulation and therefore perfectly acceptable),

and then the days and days and days of fixing said car. yes, it is gold.


nick is hot. and i was way less prepared photographically for this post than i thought. try to imagine the glory of said fridge, water heater, and car, although i highly doubt you'll be able to get anywhere near the glory of that car. it's older than i am. and did i mention that it's gold?

but most excitingly, you missed my ultrasound and the unveiling of our spawn's genitals.

and because none of our parents are active on the internet lately despite our requests (ahem), they don't know yet, so neither can any of you. so let's take a poll, shall we? am i hauling about a girlchild or boychild? let's just keep the options down to those two, to simplify things and such.

but check this out--thais love photobooths at the mall. they print out somewhere in the order of thousands of rolls of film every visit. apparently that tendency extends to ultrasound copies. do you SEE this?
