the return of the morrills

dundunDUN!

oh, look! we have a blog!  our most sincere apologies to everybody who's been checking our site seven times a day in hopes that we've updated you on our highly thrilling and somewhat illicit lives.  really.

so, we're back in the mother ship.  confession: we MISSED provo.  i know, we were shocked.  but it really was pretty neat to have legit friends again down the street.  nick was super exhausted from our 21-hour leg from ohio to provo, arriving at 1am, followed by his first class at 9 that morning.  i was super exhausted from terrorizing every single person i know in these 3 zip codes withing 4 days and gossiping with them extensively. we both have really hard lives.

quick update: nick's in his last year at BYU and loving it.  well, he loves rock climbing and jumping off 30-ft bridges into very green water.  classes are bearable.  i'm enjoying graduate-dom with my PT job at the elementary school where i've volunteered for the last three years.  i enjoy it even more now that i get paid! whoowhoo!  now i fill my days with tinkering on the piano, struggling to finish reports for HRW from this summer, pretending to clean, and trying to figure out how the heck i'm going to get foreign universities with higher-than-average ratings to accept me for an MA in a field about which i know almost nothing.

there it is.  here we are.  may i be more regular [in posting, of course] in the future.  maybe even some PICTURES will ensue. gasp!

Nice pics of Nick on the other blog... Wait, so where do you want to go and what do you want to study? Is Nick planning on taking a job with NASA when he's done?

My parents house is the Mother Ship....And I didnt know you loved the name Sophie! And if you ever have a girl you can still use it - its not like they will be 1st cousins and see each other ALL the time!

I kinda miss Provo...we were so glad to go - but now that we have been gone 6 years - we kinda wanna go back to visit - maybe live if Merrill got an ROTC job at the Y!
