1) i think my generation has effectively demolished the concept of valuing one's reputation, and i find this very disappointing. the way the world sees elyssa morrill should matter to me, and i should make sure i don't give the world a reason to think that i'm "a scrub," at least in the sense of whether or not i have integrity. we should make something of ourselves, darnit.
2) a pair of slightly oversized pearls--not necessarily genuine; let's be real here, cuz this is still me talking--instantly transform any face into that of a lady, which is why i am now searching for a pair that will not eviscerate my suddenly-as-of-a-few-months-ago very sensitive ears.*
