แม่ couldn't stop laughing at me...

but when you come in for lunch looking like this, how could it not be a swell day?

you get three guesses as to what i spent my day doing. i'll give you some hints: 1) my neck is really sore. 2) my arms are a little bit sore. 3) the removal of my left contact tonight caused me considerable grief. 4) a bamboo pole was not the ideal tool for this project, but it's what i used.

jokes; you only get one guess. and if you do not know, i shall think you a simpleton!*

finally, yes--i do realize that i look like a gremlin in these photos. don't even ask what i'm doing in the first one, because i don't know. it was an out-of-body experience. or something. but just to clear up any possible confusion, i don't really dig vampires, as my shirt advertises. i do, however, dig 60-cent t-shirts that actually sort of fit. nick was really opposed to me buying this article of clothing, simply because he thought someone somewhere might assume i like twilight. this is funny to me for many reasons, but i'll assume most of you can guess them.

*on a bit of a pride and prejudice kick lately (bbc 6-hr version all the way, y'all). i admit it. whether or not nick will do the same is yet to be discovered--sorry for outing you, lovey.

i believe you were channeling Michaelangelo and painting your very own sistine chapel. it will definitely do wonders on your neck/arms!
so fun to see the progress of your casa!!!!

I'm sure you were painting the ceiling. If I'm wrong it's possible you were being prepared as the main dish in a crock pot supper.

I'm gonna go with painting the ceiling too!! And FYI... there is no shame in liking twilight. :P Really, in the first pic you almost look 'sparkly' like the twilight vampires!! :)
