dudes, sorry for the suspenseful tension.
the picture was, indeed, bacon (which is what i guessed when nick put me to the test, so i didn't think this was a very hard contest). seeing as we also had guesses for french toast, bananas, and pie crust, however, apparently there was some room for ambiguity.
the cause might be that it has been fried and then lightly battered and then deep-fried.
mmmm, bacon.
lauren, as you exhibited the most enthusiasm, i declare you the winner. you would probably enjoy eating it the most, as well. i will save it in our cabinet until you get here.
