made some "spaghetti sauce" and put it over thai noodles. ate it all with chopsticks.
nick whistled miley cyrus's "party in the USA" while we spread cement on the bathroom wall yesterday, despite my repeated efforts to get him to desist. turns out he's rather flambunctious, himself. and he will probably delete this bit when he reads it.
went into the mountains this afternoon to scout out possible sites for youth conference next month. the mountains here are gooooorgeous.
we're planning the christmas program for the branch this year. um. as far as i could understand, we will also be playing mary and joseph in the nativity AND having the nativity be a musical. obviously, that is not the part we planned. i'm hoping i misunderstood.
i have participated in the construction of our house. proof:

i forgot to mention that we rode up into the mountains in the back of president kent's truck with instructions to "duuleh," or "look after," his 5-yr-old son... luckily, he sat in this exact position for the entire hourish journey up.
seriously. we could hardly even get him to give us one-word answers to questions. the kid's a stoic. and james bond.
